Hat With Cable Design - Free Pattern

This hat has 6 rows of cable design
I was working on a video tutorial of how to "Cast On Double Pointed Needles - Version #2" and decided to continue knitting and make a hat. Since it was bulky yarn a winter hat would be most appropriate (winter is coming ladies and gentlemen). I decided to incorporate a simple cable pattern.  This roll up hat has six rows of cable design "meeting" at the top of the hat. I believe that talented advanced beginner could knit this hat.

You will be able to knit this hat:

  • if you know how to "cast on" and "bind off"
  • if you know how to do a "knit stitch", "a purl stitch", and "a cable stitch"
  • and if you know how to knit on double pointed needles (or circular needles)
Enjoy and have fun knitting.

DPN - double pointed needles
