Simple Crocheted Bracelet

Last year I made THESE crochet earrings. And the other day I decided to make a bracelet in a similar style.

It is very simple to make and anyone can do it. If you'd rather follow a video click on THIS YOUTUBE LINK. Otherwise follow the free written pattern below. Add (sew) some beads on to make the bracelet more interesting - make it your own design.

Material:
  • left-over sock yarn
  • Hook #2
  • 6-8 twenty-four mm Split Rings (it depends on your wrist size)
  • Needle
  • Scissors
Abreviations:

SC - single crochet
YO - yarn over
ch - chain
sl. st. - slip stitch

Step-by-step instructions:

  1. make first chain/loop. Insert your split ring over the chain/loop, [insert crochet hook through the opening in the split ring, YO, pull through, YO, pull through both loops - this is single crochet] - repeat many times until all your single crochet stitches are condensed and the metal of the ring doesn't show through (about 30-36 total stitches). Finish with a sl. st. to connect the circle and leave about 7 inches long end (you will use it to sew all rings together).
  2. Do the same (= one row of single crochet stitches) on 5-7 other rings. When finished use those ends to sew circles together, then make knots and weave them into the SC row so all ends are hidden (cleaned up).
