Give-a-way Contest For Knitters and Crocheters

My circle of supporters, fans and YouTube, Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest etc. subscribers grew!!!

THANK YOU ALL!!!!

Without you, and especially your YouTube support I would not be able to continue doing what I do best = inspire and/or help knitters and crocheters with their projects. Because of you I can work from home and earn some money. Which in turn I would love to share a percentage with two winners again at this time. (Hopefully I will be able to share my "riches" with more winners in the future).

So my dear knitters and crocheters what FUN should we have this time? Since Valentine's Day is coming up,  I think to crochet or knit anything RED would be most appropriate. Anything  from anywhere = from my blog, YouTube channel, OR any other website you would like to knit or crochet an item of your choice. Let's spread LOVE with hand made stuff. You have entire month to finish your project.

I will drew two (2) winners. Each of them will win $15 - Amazon Gift Card, OR PayPal money transfer.

RULES & DEADLINE ARE HERE. PLEASE, FOLLOW THEM TO THE LETTER. THANK YOU.

Win A Gift Card By Knitting One Of My Designs

I grew a nice following on YouTube. I thank you for supporting my passion.

In the past I had a give-away contest with giving away items I knitted. But today I will be giving away 2 gift cards to Amazon.com, or any gift card of winners' choice, each worth $15 to some lucky knitter(s) or crocheter(s).

Rules for this give-away are posted on THIS PAGE
One of my friends, who doesn't knit or crochet, will draw two winners - it will be videotaped and posted on my youtube channel. I hope you will enter this give-away.

Good Luck and please, abide by the rules :-)

Crocheted Heart And Flower Necklace - Video Tutorial and Give-A-Way #2

Are you thinking what gift you would like to give to your loved one on Valentine's Day? Do you know how to crochet? Do you know how to crochet these stitches - a slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and chain?
Then perhaps you would consider making a crocheted necklace (picture on your left) from a red yarn. You will need about 1/2 skein of your favorite yarn, hook, and scissors. Thin yarn will make this necklace more dainty, the thick yarn will make it more like a "necklace-y" scarf. So do not worry about picking up your preferred yarn and making your necklace your own.

I made a video "how-to crochet a necklace pictured on the left"  HERE.

Happy Valentines to you all.

PLEASE, COMMENT ON YOUTUBE BELOW MY VIDEOS, AND/OR SHARE YOUR IMAGES OF YOUR RECREATED WORKS ON MY FB PAGE HERE :-)

Note: Most of the time I work as fast as I can to keep up with knitting and crocheting requests. I have to videotape, edit videos, then convert them & upload them to my channel. After that often I post on my blog patterns. I answer many questions, which means that often I work up to 16 hours a day. I would tremendously appreciate IF anyone of you who finds an error in the written pattern, so please, let me know - where (what rows) and what may be the problem. Many future knitters & crocheters from our artsy and crafty virtual world will thank you for your good deed, including myself.

Give-A-Way Number 1 - "Knitted Hat"

Happy New Year 2014

Do you have a new year's resolution? I do.

I decided to start give-a-ways for my fans and followers.
Since I like to knit, crochet, paint, draw - in other words create anything with my hands - I thought it would be a great idea to occasionally give away an item made by me to a lucky winner (visit my blog for more give-a-ways in the future).  My husband's hand will draw someone's name from all people that will express an interest in the particular item.

Today's item is a hat knitted in an off white and green acrylic yarn and will fit anyone with approximately 20"-22" head circumference. I knitted this hat couple of years ago and ever since it is "sitting" in my box with other knitted stuff. So I decided to give it away. Interested? If so - see the rules below.

Give-a-Way's Rules:
  1. Anyone living in the United States of America can participate
  2. You must respond by noon (12pm), Friday, January 17th, 2014 Eastern Time Zone
  3. LEAVE A SHORT COMMENT BELOW THIS ARTICLE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DRAWING. Later on I will need some way to contact a winner
  4. The winner will not pay a penny (for the item nor for the postage) - he/she just have to wait when the item arrives by USPS (provided I will have name and address of the winner)
  5. If you (the reader) do not care for this item, share the link with someone you know that could be interested - this item could be a great gift for a person in need
  6. I reserve the right to change the rules at any time
You can also share this short video with your friends.

OK - THERE WERE NO TAKERS. LOOK FOR VALENTINE'S DAY GIVE-A-WAY.
