These high waisted shorts were supposed to be knitted only as diaper covers. But then I had enough left over yarn and I started to knit some more.... And now it is a set.
It is a perfect outfit for Fall weather. Dress your baby in a white shirt/blouse and white tights and then pair it with these body hugging "Pinkie Shorts". If it is windy outside then put "Pinkie Leg Warmers" on baby's legs, dress your baby's head with matching "Pinkie Hat", and you are set to go and explore the world. (Hmmm, I should probably design a vest or a sweater to go with it.)

M1 - make a stitch by picking up a loop from the front between two stitches and knitting into the back of it, OR picking up a loop from the back between two stitches and knitting it knitwise - which ever is easy for you
BO - bind off
Gauge:
4" x 4" = 16 sts x 22 rows (stockinette)
